A 90-minute yoga practice that integrates all important yoga techniques, including pranayama breathing, energy locks, vinyasa flow exercise, traditional yoga poses with variations, visualizations, concentration, singing mantras, relaxation, and seated meditation.  Come experience a complete yoga practice. For all levels.

Includes gentle movement coupled with the alignment principles and lightheartedness of Anusara yoga.  Appropriate for all levels, but especially beneficial for those with physical limitations, chronic illness, or a body that hasn't experienced movement for a while.

Kundalini Yoga
An ancient yoga style, Kundalini Yoga focuses on elevating consciousness, allowing for greater awareness of the mind, body and spirit.  Feel more relaxed, healthy, and happy through this less strenuous practice utilizing yogic postures, movements, breath work, and meditations. All levels welcome.

Level 1
Incorporates the fundamentals of hatha yoga with the alignment principles and philosophy of Anusara Yoga.  Founded by John Friend, Anusara is a hatha yoga system that teaches Universal Principles of Alignment. It is also a powerful "celebration of the heart," that looks for the good in all people and all things. Consequently, students of all levels of ability and yoga experience are honored for their unique differences, limitations, and talents.

Meditation
Meditation can be broadly defined as any activity that keeps the attention pleasantly anchored in the present moment.  When the mind is calm and focused in the present, it is neither reacting to memories from the past or being preoccupied with plans for the future, two major sources of chronic stress known to impact health. This Meditation Class will include some gentle stretching and movement in addition to one or more meditation session(s). Suitable for those new to meditation or yoga. ON BREAK UNTIL MARCH.
Pilates Hour
An hour of mat pilates.  Pilates is a movement program that focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and support the spine. Breath awareness is also a key aspect of this movement activity.

Prenatal Yoga

Twinkle Toes Yoga for Tots
A weekly class emphasizing yoga skills to help childen develop body awareness, focus skills, self confidence.  Ages 2-7.
