Karate led Michael to yoga, which he has studied since 1990.  He is certified through the White Lotus school (Ghanga White and Tracy Rich). 

Michael is also a nationally-known classical guitarist (www.michaellucarelli.com), and a self-taught abstract painter (www.lucarelliart.com). 

When asked what students might say attracts them to his yoga classes, Michael's response was his passion, and his belief that we often times underestimate our abilities.  Michael will offer challenges, ultimately leaving it up to the student to accept or decline the opportunities. 

Michael has made Salt Lake his home since 1977.  He and his wife, Shahla,  are enjoying life in Holladay.
